COVID-19 Church Plans

As the corona virus issue widens, and with the President and Governor each recommending groups stay to 10 or less, the deacons and Pastor Phil met again tonight and would like to take the following approach for the next two Sundays (March 22 and 29):
The service will start at 11am as usual, and Phil will be preaching, and the worship team will be singing, but we recommend people watch on TV either by themselves or as part of a “watch party,” and not come to church in person. There will be no Sunday School, no breakfast, no nursery, and no children’s church.
These watch parties are to be 10 or less people, and will watch the church livestream from Facebook or our YouTube Channel which is at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGEMyI_QlymGfmU_2eYYdyw If you would like to host or attend a watch party, please call or text Dan Blocksom at (208) 340-2482
While not ideal, our church is exploring this option in an attempt to (1) honor the recommendations of our governing authorities (Romans 13:1-7), (2) continue to meet together for encouragement and edification (Hebrews 10:24-25), and also (3) love our community by demonstrating care for their current fears (Mark 12:31).
